envy
My husband came home from work last night and plopped down in the chair and promptly napped. Through dinner. Then he dragged himself up for about half an hour. Then we went to bed.I had insomnia.
Today he's all bright eyed and bushy tailed. I want to hit him with a broom. I have sleep-envy.

Sleep envy is a horrible thing. My beloved can fall asleep so easily-if there are 12 disturbances in the night (phone call, toddler, sirens, flatulent dog back firing in close proximity, etc) he'll fall right back to sleep each and every time. No. That's totally misleading. THAT RAT BASTARD DOESN"T EVEN WAKE UP for half of them. Oops, sorry. And those that do wake him, he falls asleep immediately after.
And then he snores.
It is a miracle I let him live.
I haven't slept through the night for three years....even I hate Bear right now. LOL!
men have an uncanny ability to shut off their minds.
...I guess, when the aliens come to take over this planet, we women will be grateful that it's harder for us to sleep peacefully...
but until then, it sucks.
ps: I'm finally linking you. Jesus. Took me long enough.
Heh. I've always had trouble sleeping if anything is off - I'm nervous, I'm worried, I'm sleeping in a hotel bed, etc. I envy people who can fall asleep anywhere with no problem.
