Not sure when it happened and as of last night it was still wrong, but less than 24 hours after hearing from that one person on the ball* at Entrepreneur, Ebay's unbelievably horrifying typo has been fixed. Finally, I can stop compulsively checking it ....*if you think about it, there really is only room for one person to be 'on the ball' at one time, right? my head hurts ....

My grandmother always used to pat herself on the back when she was really on top of things by saying, "Wow, I'm on the ball today." And my grandfather would say, "If you're on the ball bounce up and kiss my ass." Every single time she said it, he used that comeback and she never stopped saying it. How on the ball could she have been? ;o)

I second! I'm always thrown when I enter the comment room only to discover myself on my ass from a face full of fantastically funny.
And, "Snake Eyes!" That slays! I love it. (Pardon my single-comment-double-entry thing. I'm hoping it isn't too hefty a faux pas but if I try to complete two separate comments I'm likely to pass out right here!)
